  • The Visual Poem “Would You Kill God Too” written by WJ Lofton will be making its Chicago debut with as an official selection of the 27th Annual Black Harvest Film Festival at the @filmcenter Nov 5 - Dec 2 ! Would You Kill God Too is directed by WJ Lofton & Natalie Lauren.

    This film was commissioned by Ava Duvernay & Array.

  • The Bra Off Series will be apart of the, Minding My Business (i said what i said) Exhibition : May 22-September 12, 2021 at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center (AWAACC).

    Minding My Business (i said what i said) features seven women of color exploring self-authorship as a means to liberated futures. What does emancipation look like for many women within a contemporary mindset? What is the true power of unlearning the societal and intergenerational patterns of self-sacrifice and leaning into self-love instead? Each work defines freedom in its own truth by acts of service, community, ritual and space making through photography, video and works on paper.
